Tallinn Children’s Safety Centre offers the opportunity to participate in the parenting program “Incredible Years” in Russian, aimed at parents of children aged 2–8 years.

The Estonian-language training takes place at the Tallinn Family Centre.

“Incredible Years” is a 4-month program for parents who need support and want to learn how to better cope with parenting challenges.

The effectiveness of the “Incredible Years” program has been proven and it has shown positive results in many countries (nearly 30 countries worldwide, including Estonia) in reducing children’s behavioral problems.

By participating in the parenting program, you will gain new knowledge and skills:

• How to set boundaries and rules
• How to encourage and praise your child effectively
• How to cope with stress
• How to teach your child to manage emotions
• How to resolve conflicts
• How to support your child’s development through play, etc.

Two training cycles are held each year – in autumn and winter.

The training takes place in small groups (14 people) once a week for 2–2.5 hours.
There are 16 sessions in total (4 months), held on weekday evenings or weekends.

You can register for the program throughout the year.
Two weeks before the training starts, all registered parents will be contacted to form groups and share important information about the start of the training.

The training is conducted in person.
Evening snacks are provided, and childcare is arranged during the sessions.
